Let’s Integrate.

Counseling sessions focused specifically on safe preparation, education, and meaningful integration of your psychedelic journey.

Making Meaning of the Journey

Psychedelic experiences—whether through plant medicines, ketamine, or other expanded states—can be profound, disorienting, healing, or all of the above.

Integration is where the real work happens: the space where insights take root, nervous systems settle, and inner shifts become lasting transformation.

I offer psychedelic integration counseling for individuals who are exploring or have experienced altered states of consciousness, whether through ceremony, therapeutic settings, or on their own. This work is nonjudgmental, trauma-informed, and deeply grounded in somatic and spiritual care.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • Emotional or spiritual material that arose during your experience

  • How to make meaning of what you saw, felt, or remembered

  • Navigating anxiety, confusion, grief, or disconnection post-journey

  • Integrating insights into your everyday life, relationships, and identity

  • Supporting your nervous system in processing big energetic or emotional shifts

My approach blends parts work (IFS), mindfulness, somatic therapy, and spiritually inclusive practices. As someone with lived experience in this realm, I hold a deep respect for the power—and the complexity—of these medicines.

Psychedelic integration is not about chasing peak experiences. It’s about weaving what you’ve learned into your life, body, and relationships—so that healing becomes something you live, not just something you visit.

Benefits

  • Enhanced Access to Emotion & Memory
Psychedelics can allow people to access suppressed emotions, traumatic memories, or insights that may be hard to reach in traditional talk therapy. This can deepen self-understanding and emotional processing.

  • Reduction in Symptoms
Emerging research shows that psychedelics, particularly psilocybin and ketamine, can significantly reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction, especially when combined with psychotherapy.

  • Increased Neuroplasticity
Some psychedelics can promote neuroplasticity, meaning the brain becomes more flexible and open to forming new connections. This can help loosen rigid thought patterns and create new behavioral pathways.

  • Transpersonal and Spiritual Insight
Many people report deeply meaningful spiritual experiences during psychedelic journeys. These can help cultivate a sense of connection, purpose, and inner peace, especially in those facing existential distress.

  • Ego Dissolution and Perspective Shift
Psychedelics can offer a break from habitual ways of thinking, helping people see themselves, others, or past events from a new angle—supporting forgiveness, compassion, and healing.

Risks

  • Psychological Overwhelm or Destabilization
Psychedelics can open the door to intense material—memories, emotions, or visions—which can be destabilizing if not well-integrated. Without proper support, this can worsen symptoms like anxiety, dissociation, or paranoia.

  • Pre-existing Mental Health Conditions
People with certain diagnoses—especially psychotic disorders like schizophrenia or bipolar I—may be at higher risk for adverse reactions, including triggering mania, psychosis, or extreme anxiety.

  • Misuse or Poor Set & Setting
When used in unsafe or unregulated environments, psychedelics can lead to harm, retraumatization, or dangerous behavior. Preparation, context, and support are critical.

  • Spiritual Bypass or False Clarity
Sometimes, people may mistake a powerful psychedelic insight for permanent transformation, skipping over the deeper work of integration. Therapy helps ground insight into sustainable change.

  • Legal and Ethical Considerations
Most psychedelics remain illegal outside of research or medical settings in many parts of the world. Even with growing interest in ketamine, psilocybin, and MDMA-assisted therapy, it's important to work within legal, ethical frameworks.

Disclaimer
I do not provide, condone, or encourage the use, procurement, or distribution of any illegal substances. I do not administer or guide psychedelic journeys.

All integration work is conducted in accordance with applicable laws and professional ethical standards. My role is to support clients in safely exploring the emotional, psychological, and spiritual material that may emerge from such experiences, with a focus on grounding, reflection, and long-term integration.

If you are in crisis or seeking immediate support, please contact a local mental health crisis line or emergency services.

The Light and the Shadow

Honoring Both the Gifts and Risks of Psychedelic Therapy

When approached with care, intention, and integration, psychedelics can be a powerful adjunct to therapy. But they are not a magic fix. They’re tools—sometimes profound ones—that work best when held within a safe, grounded therapeutic relationship.
